My ATU 2 switched on when putting in power lead, On/Off button does not work, screen stuck showing (flashing):
It is new (or so the radio shop who sold it told me).
It does not recognise usb pad or keyboard, can not do firmware update because it does not recognise the usb port.
Is there a way to get it working or do I send it back and get a replacement?
Any help, suggestions appreciated.
I was told the RS-485 connector is used instead of the RS-232 when there is a very long distance between the ATU and Loop (100s of metres).
Just received the Ciro BABY loop antenna. I have the ATU Version 2 (firmware 3.20) with the RS-232 module installed. I plan to use it with an ICOM IC-7300 and a CT-17 line level converter.
Question: Is the RS-485 connector used at all?
