New Baby Loop Owner

HI there Baby Loop Antenna community,

I just received this super excellent loop antenna from local domestic seller/dealer, DXengineering Ohio USA yesterday, and let me tell you, I am having a blast unboxing, assembling and testing this magnificent and so far the best semi “stealthy” antenna in the Ham Radio market today. I have never seen a Ham antenna that can tune from 6.6Mhz to 29.8Mhz at an average swr of probably +-1.7 without the use of an antenna tuner…wow. And can handle up to 400watt PEP to boot.

At the same token, I have never paid some much money for just one antenna my entire ham radio years…jeez, I have blown my radio budget for the entire year. The cost of this product is at a premium, mush more expensive that my new IC 7300 rig…lol but, I guess there is old adage in the Ham Radio community that says, you’re radio is only as good as the type of antenna you pair it with. I lived in an HOA restricted neighborhood and I cannot install a tower type antenna.

In any case, I just wanted to say hi and share my initial thoughts on my new and proud owner of the baby loop antenna from Ciro Mazzoni.

Regards,

Dan
